Rotation is another aspect in flux in 2012

With four-fifths of their original starters battling injuries, there's no guarantee that any Twins pitcher will win 10 games this season.

If the Ramos & Young deals didn't seal BSmith's fate, shouldn't the Hardy/Nishi/Hoey fiasco be the final nail in his coffin? Who in the org said that Burnett and Mijares were capable of taking the place of Guerrier and Crain? Smith, again. Perk's success was a complete accident. Anyone remember Craig Breslau?, he's be a stud in this pen, the Twins let him walk away, scot free.

What is that, $11MM per homer? At 6"6"? Wow.

I guess Mauer's upper respiratory congestion was much better today. The chicken noodle soup, fluids and bed rest must have taken care of it.

And "Oh yeah?!" Nice job deciding your starting rotation back in March, Gardy. Right now, the guy who "disrespected" you, when you inexplicably demoted him for a couple of obviously inferior arms, Kevin Slowey, is proving you wrong, yet again, and is now lining up as your #1 Ace, next spring. Hopefully, you and "Smitty" will be long gone by that time.

Great news that Joe came back for the rubber match of the series. That's like showing up to work on a Friday after missing Monday through Thursday. Hopefully, he didn't stub his toe crossing home plate....that would be another week off for Joe......

Did he say that the "sniffles" limited Mauer to 73 gms this year????

Joey - Have mommy take you and get a flu shot tomorrow so you do not miss anymore games...

Hey Mauer it must be embarrassing being the same size as Curtis Granderson and watching him hit 40 HR's and 20+ every year. Even Hardy has more, so does Scutaro, and elsbury. Nice job.

Mauer's performance today was nothing to sneeze at. He's been aching to get that second homer! If the pen doesn't cough up those runs, we may have won. Maybe Bill Smith can sniff out some new relievers by next season. The ones we have make me puke.
