Tens of thousands of jobs - but unions don't like it. We know who calls the shots in the Obama Administration. Guess it'll have to wait until after the next election.

The Senate ratifies trade agreements. The House plays no part. The Dems control the Senate. Oh and has Obama actually submitted the agreements to the Senate? Nope. But somehow, he's all for blaming the Republicans for the hold up. I thought he put partisanship aside when he was elected?

When will we learn to be pragmatic & stay out of telling other countries what they should do?

All that happens with these trade agreements is our country losing good high paying jobs and if we gain any jobs at all, they are low paying low skills jobs. Doesn't that sound like a great deal?? Sounds like a rush to the gutter.

The White House and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce agree the trade deals will create tens of thousands of new jobs as American businesses hire to meet increased demand.>>> If the President wants them then passage of the trade bills would be a political victory for him. Since defeating Obama is the GOP's chief aim in both houses I hope the Chamber of Commerce lobbyists knows which side of the aisle their bread is buttered on.

The very next time Obama talks about putting politics aside and special interests, I hope we remember this issue where the primary item of difference is the special interests represented by unions. Also, when will we learn that we are not the moral arbitrator for the World and we cannot impose our beliefs on the rest of the World.

"If the President wants them then passage of the trade bills would be a political victory for him. Since defeating Obama is the GOP's chief aim in both houses I hope the Chamber of Commerce lobbyists knows which side of the aisle their bread is buttered on."...If one would read AND comprehend the words written, one would see that the article clearly points out that these agreements have been on the table for "3 or 4 years"...seems to me that the democrats had been holding the house and senate for the final 2 years of the GW Bush admin and the senate has been controlled by the same democrats for the full term of the current community organizer in chief. So, who is it we are to blame for this lack of job creation? The silence is deafening from the liberal/union lackey left! WHY IS THE LEFT AGAINST JOBS FOR THE COUNTRY? Is it because they are controlled by those card carrying union folk and their DNC donations?

Free trade has been a disaster for the middle class. If you don't have a job the cheap tv is still out of reach. Read "Bad Samaritans" for more on this.
