A sliver of good news on local home prices

They're up slightly for third month in a row, but still down from last year.

They're up, they're down, they're back, they're forth. Just hunker down and stick with your current home if you don't have to move. If you're in an apartment, have a stable job, and some good money to put down, now is an excellent time to buy.

Forget buying gold--it's too expensive. That's just a formula for buying high and selling low. Instead go counter culture and buy low/sell high with real estate.

Gold is too expensive? In what world? Do you know where the price will be in two years? A good guess is that it will be much higher as the feds and the pols continue their counterfeiting and debt acceleration. At the same time this fiscal suicide will continue to drive real estate prices down, regardless of articles like this one that are a reach at best, and a hopeless giveaway to real estate advertisers at worst.
