"Americans don't quit..." Those Americans who are paying any attention at all have quit on this clown occupying the WH for another 17 months.
Clown... That is a compliment to him, I could have thought of something better but, CommiTrib would sensor it...
How about a good news story - like when will he leave the state and go back to his golf course?
How many benefits could be paid with the 380 mil. waste discovered yesterday, or the 6.8 million for a veterns cemetary on the indian res. in SD when there is a veterns cemetary in Rapid City.
I love our leader(peace be upon him) The commitrib loves him too
Ah, the right wing nuts who simply cannot stand the thought of have a majority elected President who is African American. Gosh, I thought that part of why all of us veterans fought and served for was to assure that anyone no matter the race, creed or color, could be elected to serve in the highest office of the land. As a veteran of four-years of active duty with the USAF, I celebrate his election to the White House and by a majority of the voters for the first time in a long time, i.e. all of the plurality winners that preceded him. Ah, but the good right wing nuts just gonna keep their heads in the sand and whine about whatever he does and accomplishes, primarily because he is an AA as well as a Democrat. The wing nuts have rad the constitution haven't they or do they think that is some doggone old liberal ruse?
Only one of our last two presidents have put troops into harm's way for reasons that were proven false. You might defend Bush by saying that he at least did this honestly thinking it was necessary, except then all you are saying is that he (and the rest of his administration) did a terrible job of weighing the facts and the pros and cons of going to war. Responding to 9/11 was necessary. But our response has been very misdirected. It seems to me that our current president has proven that A) he is not the wimpy "dove" that so many Republicans say about Democrats and that B) he is genuinely using intelligence and the information he has to decide what to do in our current wars. I really think you have to strain to make the argument that President Bush and the Republicans are better friends to veterans.
Previous comments notwithstanding, Minnesota is largely friendly territory to a Democratic president who seems to be in full campaign mode. However, it seems to me that if he wants to be re-elected, it would make much more sense to take his "rationalization and blaming others" show to a populous state that doesn't love him quite so much at this time--say Florida or Texas.
HAVE TO SAY i am a liitle surprised the hard core DFL left liberals were not protesting our participation in 3 wars. If the Pres were a republican they would have been out in force with lots of local media coverage. Speak up libs, how can this be??
As an Army Veteran and Legionnaire, I do not accept a salute from a President that sometimes does and sometimes does not render the proper respect to the flag of the United States, and thus, to those that defend the flag and for which it stands. http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/anthem.asp
