Not a nicer guy in television. He'll be missed.

Best wishes to a true professional. I appreciated his gracious farewell last night. It seemed like his co-workers appreciated a nice guy.

It's sad to see him go. There's nothing holding me to WCCO for the weekend news anymore.

I felt he was the most easy going, fun and NATURAL person on TV. If they did can him, then CBS has some real problems. This guy was a winner all the way. Good luck to you Dennis and to your family, you WILL BE MISSED!!!

another unwise decision by CBS management. How can they continue to make such stupid decisions? Good luck Dennis...

If Channel 5 has any sense they will go after him to anchor their evening news.

Evidently WCCO has decided that they want blonds only, and Douda didn't fit the hair color or the gender....

The warm and fuzzy and oh so personable station does seem to have some conflicts with that image. Well, they can keep it quiet enough to let us forget they are like all the others: corporate owned news/entertainment.

No doubt to be replaced by someone with half his talent and experience who will make half his pay.
