Mauer and Morneau are coming through, Cuddy, Span and Liriano, too. Just like Tooooony, the Killer and Carew....

AL worst record race: Baltimore 1.5 games ahead and KC is only 1 game ahead. If only Houston was on our schedule, we coild get the #1 overall pick for the first time since we drafted the iron man Joe Mauer!!!!

We are 10.5 games behind Houston. I need to stop over-estimating how bad this team is. They can still get that number one pick after all!

It's incredible -- these guys. It's been awhile since we were out of the race before mid-August. And so now that we are completely out of it, the guys have lay down. Too bad -- it's a wonderful sport to watch when it's well-played. But to see Plouffe toss that one into the stands -- on a routine ground ball -- is ugly.

do they really think that taking a hit away from DY last night will keep billy boy smith from looking like a complete idiot?

Seriously, I can't remember the last time this team won a game. They are getting annihilated on their home turf night after night after night. Of couse, after the season everything will be written off by the apologists to "injuries," and the most overrated manager in baseball will be given yet another free pass. The double-standard between how Childress was treated and how this same type of loser is coddled is mind-boggling.

"Get to Know 'Em," has degenerated into "Stick a Fork in 'Em." The season is well and truly lost. But hey, not to worry, on 2012 opening day, we'll be 0-0!
