With Brett, they were doomed. This is a new era for the Minnesota Vikings. A drama-free, fly under the radar and win the divison era. They Will do great this season.

@benblitzen - Yeah right, just like they have done over the last 51 (and counting) seasons with NO Super Bowl / World Championship to show for all that "doing great flying under the radar"!!!

Hey "purplegod", the Vikings may not have a Super Bowl Championship to show for their efforts YET but, they DO have the sixth highest all-time winning percentage in the NFL and they have been to the playoffs 24 times... which is third highest in the league. Also, are you aware of the fact that nearly half of the league (14 of 32 teams) has never won a Super Bowl? It's not exactly a rare thing so please stop being a jerk.

Oh boo-hoo Jared. So you have to walk by a few "commoners" on your way to another no sack afternoon. Get over yourself ok?

Purplegod, for gods sakes, why do you come here? Is this the only sort of entertainment you have in your pathetic life? The Vikings suck, who cares. Save the commenting space for true fans who aren't haters. You are only making yourself look more inept by posting such garbage.

@christian220 - I come here to point out facts, opinions and observations that are based on reality and NOT hopes and fantasies from a bunch of homers who say the SAME thing year after year after year after year. If all you want is the same old purple propaganda that comes out of Winter Park than I suggest you go to the viking report web site and you can talk to all the purple homers who have their heads in the sand abd nothing but praise for everything purple all the while ignoring all the glaring weaknesses this team failed to address in the off season. I will come here everyday just to remind purple kool-aid drinking homers like you that this team is not what they want you to believe it is so get used to it!!!

Fixing the dumptydome's roof is one thing but trying to fix the vikings frachise is a lost cause. NO player, owner, head coach or three generations of homers has been able to fix the "Purple Jinx" that has kept the vikings from winning a World Championship during their 51 (and counting) years of existance and that cannot be disputed. Enjoy yet another Super Bowl-less season fellow homers!!!

It doesn't matter where you play the game its how you play the game. The MoA Dome is what the team has for now and nothing can be done about it. Either saddle up and ride or walk alongside and complain every step about the poor horse you have. Eight of the games are played away so look around and find a place that's better and go about getting one built that is as good or better next year. Until then kwitcherbellyakin and play ball!
