forhawkeyes-"0-1, baby, book it"....stop the presses everyone, call Las Vegas! This is the most insightful call ever made on a college football game. Could you also please prdict that a hurricane named Irene will strike the east coast this weekend?

Some things you can't control in college FB, like talent levels from team to team (apparently USC spends a lot more on player's salaries than the Gophers). So sometimes you are just going to lose, becasue the other tema just flat out has bigger, faster, better players. What I would like to see in a game like this is evidence that Kill is getting the message to his players a high effort level, and to play with some discipline - no stupid pre-snap penalties, no turnovers, no completley blown coverage in the secondary, etc. Those are mental parts of the game that you can control. It was those sort of stupid mistakes that used to drive me crazy with Brewster's teams, and caused them to lose not only to better teams, but also to teams that they should have beaten.
