"Joe Mauer was not in the lineup on Wednesday because of general soreness."///You can't make this up. I can't believe that is an honest to goodness excuse they are using. Pathetic. 'General Soreness - #7' tee shirts soon will be on sale. I promise.

I went to the game tonight. I have never seen a more pathetic display of no effort, no talent, no excitement and a pure lack of caring about entertaining the fans. It was just inhuman to have to sit there and watch that team do absolutely nothing. Poor at bats, poor pitching, poor fielding. Not one redeeming effort from anyone. Every guy on that team should have his butt kicked hard and half his salary taken away for what they are delivering. It is really a sickening display by so called professionals who don't even seem to care enough to try.

Two things: - What does Mauer need to rest for? He's been sitting most of the year (Does Pujols rest?) - Forget Nishi, it's a failed experiment. Since we are out of it, lets play some others and see if they can play SS next year.

until mauer shapes up, his name should not mentioned with pujols' name. albert is a beast and he's having an 'off' year batting 290............and he got off to a slow start.

JJ Hardy has more rbi & hr's than Mauer/Mourneau combined. Which Mauer rbi has been your favorite this year(of his 25)? Personally, I enjoyed rbi # 17.
