This is the kind of coach the Wolves need. Yeah he's been around the block, but all he does is make every team/franchise he coaches better. Feels like a can't miss with Adelman -- as if the worst that could happen is that they only get a bit better.

Out of the choices present, Adelman seems to be the best candidate. That great winning percentage has to mean something. Just hope he can develop all the Wolves young players if we get him.

LETS DO THIS!! Let the T-Puppies start to think they can WIN! Let us all hope Kahn will now give him the space and respect this man ( and his coaching record ) deserves !

A whole four comments so far. That will tell you how important this NBA franchise is right now. You can't keep putting a mediocre team on the floor year after year and expect public support. I am not sure if it would be a smart move for Adelman to come here or not? He couldn't do any worse than Rambis and company and the salary? I consider it obscene, and would rather see them hire a new hungry young coach from the college ranks. Two years from now, if the wolves are still losing, he will be gone with his money, a smile on his face, and we will be try to draft another answer to the franchise's problems. The T-wolves are rapidly becoming the Clippers of the midwest. Sorry to be so negative, but I love basketball and the moves this team has made over the years has not and will not make me optimistic. The latest is Rubio who had poor numbers in Europe, and yet we think he is NBA caliber? With all the problems, I still wish this team luck.

COMMENT 229, Negative attitude , but I gave you a thumbs up! You are realistic !! I too would love to see a young hungry new coach ( not college , but Bill Laimbeer to duplicate what he did in the WNBA!! ) I hope in 2 years we are not calling you " NOSTRADAMUS". I hope Rubio will impress us all. His team did win the Euro-Championships and he was hampered by a nagging foot injury which limited his #s and minutes, but he still guided the weaponds at his disposal to Victory!! I will remain optimistic because I am a Twins and Vikings fan and want to see the T-wolves do good!!

If he takes the job, his success or lack of success will be directly related to the freedom he has from Kahn's direction. A better idea would be to hire Adelman as GM and coach with a strong young assistant/ heir apparent. did I mention and send King Kahn down the Chile highway.

FWallen, If he gets hired and the T-Wolves do good, Shouldn't Kahn get the credit? I think G. Taylor will think so ! Especially if Kevin Mc. doen't do well where he is at!
