Wonderful story about a wonderful young man. It would be nice to hear/see more stories like this written and promoted.

Ski-U-Mah! Sounds like a potential Fulbright or Rhodes scholar.

I would love to see a winning season for the Gophers, but I would gladly trade every win if they could produce a team of young men like Mr. Wilhite.

Chip, you've only been been a columnist for a few weeks, but you're already on my must-see list. I always feel better informed after reading your columns, not angry like I am after reading Souhan.

Go get 'em, young man! The world is your's! Neat to hear more about the "up and comers" that Coach Kill has on his Team! Great article!

Great story of an awesome young man. A reflection of great parents and a tribute a man making the best of a terrific opportunity. A credit to the U and the football team. I also like the part of Coach Kill taking time out to recognize what a student athlete is all about. Ski U Ma.
