Work out kinks??? That's like saying Brett Favres last pass/interception against the Aints in the Championship game..."hurt a little"....

I think remi adoyele is struggling, kennedy would of have been a better option. Erin is also struggling it may seem like he made a lot of tackles but he sure doesn't wrap up the right way and doesn't have the killer instinct, leber was also a better option. I would give ballard the start at the d- tackle next to kevin. For the weakside linebacker we could have some problems there I'd say brinkley would be a better option than erin. I see this being a long season the packers bears and lions are ahead of schedule. I just don't see how the vikes can stop other teams from scoring this team is going to struggle I can already sense it I've seen it a trillion times already.

The Vikings played their back-ups and it exposed a few players that are not ready for the big time yet. The safety and corner looked like Keystone Cops on roller skates on the one play (or three). The first pre-season game is not going to tell you much about any team for the upcoming season. Lets see what they do in the next two games.

Why are we having a bunch of tight ends to help block and only 2 wideouts, don't you think that teams wouldn't want to blitz and drop back to shut out the wideouts? atleast put 3 to 4 wideouts spread them out to keep defenses on check. You have 2 tight ends helping you think teams will even bother to blitz they can just drop back there's only 2 wideouts and they are no threats they can shut down our 2 wideouts. This offense needs to spread them out and put more wideouts on the field and create some big splash plays not 3 or 4 yard catch and go routes.

lets see the adjustments and learning curve over the next thtre preseason games.... the NFL is a game of adjustments and intelligence. The fact that four starters on defense were not playing and the Titans scored 14 points, some fans are making comments like we gave up 45 points... with new coordinators on both sides of the ball, it will be a transition period.

Mcnabb is good at reading defences, and you could see right away how much better His speed and agility is for scrambling away from the defence on pass plays than farve was.

We've been seeing a lot of those "L"s on the score chart these last couple of years...

WOW, here we go already the negative folks. The preseason is a chance for people to get OPPORTUNITIES to make the team and let the coaches see what makes for a solid core up and down the positions that need support. To expect miracles when the goal is to find out the 4-6 guys looking for jobs which one stays and which one goes, why be negative. What i did like was that McNabb brings a sense of calm and control to the leadership position of quarterback and seemed happier then any game i noticed him when i watched a Washington redskins game. GO VIKINGS GO!!!

Over all it was not pretty but I think like the coaches told the youngsters just go out there and make tackles have fun and don't try and think. That will come soon enuff. The team has barely practiced in full pads much less being able to like Leslie said "be able to decide who goes and who stays when that day comes". Heck even Snacky's world champ Pukers lost to Cleveland!
