Phil Dumatrait muffed a roller for the game-winning run, while the hitters didn't take advantage of Erik Bedard.

Twins will never survive paying mauer 23 million a year, given his meager production and catching 1/3 of the time-if he's healthy. Too often injured or unable to catch. He will never be an iron-man. For the sake of quality starting pitching, he has got to go. For someone like the Yanks to pay 23 million is acceptable, for the small town Twins, it's downright deadly. The money has to go for quality pitching. I see him in pinstripes for 3 top notch starter prospects.

Aug. 9, 1110:46 PM Fire Gardenhire and his coaches at the end of the year - start thinking now about who the replacements should be. Rick Anderson has failed to mentor the Twins pitchers. Tonight is a great example. 7 walks from Lariano, 2 scored. 2 walks from Capps that led to winning run scoring. Key to victory is pitching. Anderson & Gardenhire did not get it done. Yes, injuries hurt but our starting pitching has not improved.

The Beasts bite the Twins again, it is pretty obvious the Beasts have exposed the Twins starters for what they are.

IT'S TIME TO GUT THIS TEAM LIKE A FISH AND START FROM THE BOTTOM. WATCHING LIRIANO PITCH RUINS MY NIGHT. I WOULD RATHER WATCH RERUNS OF "THE BACHELORETTE" THAN WATCH THE TWINS TURN INTO A TRAIN WRECK.

Typical Joe Mauer in the ninth inning, watches two pitches go by and then ground out weakly to end the game. That is $23 million well spent, I think a refund is due! Glad to see Nishi almost put one out though, time For changes to be made...

If you think this year is bad, wait until next year. It is going to be worse. A lock on last place...

What's more annoying? Watching 23 million dollar guy fail in clutch situations? Listening to fake Red Sox fans from Minnesota call out YOOOUkilis when he bats?
