The Twins completed a 4-6 road trip with a familiar scene, a dud from their starting pitcher.

This team is so schizo I can't even believe it. Dump Pavano, Liriano, and Blackie in the offseason.

Liriano + Nisioka + Butera = Yuck! I've given up up Liriano and the other two, who cares? As boss302 stated, dump Blackburn and Pavano too! I hate to give up on the Twins, but their current roster is not good enough and the front office has done them no favors.

Liriano seems to be a total headcase. He seems to lack preparation and concentration in big game situations. Good teams can wear him down as he seems to have no mental fortitude. Blackburn, Pavano, Liriano are not good enough to compete with the better clubs. This team needs a facelift...

I sat in row 2, right behind the twins dugout for this suckfest. No sense of urgency or desire to win from these deadbeats. Glad I didnt just fly the 1500 miles out here this wknd just to see these idiots.

Can our middle infield look any more helpless? Nishi muffs a barehander, Cuddyer can't throw a relay to the actual base...gah.

Well, at least we have our 23 million dollar singles hitter locked up for awhile..

Cuddyer stunk early at 2nd, and Valencia could have plowed that catcher but gave us a wussy slide. And Nishioka is just not getting the little things of the game. No idea how that guy won batting titles in Japan...

Thank god Bill Smith didn't see the need to entertain trade talks with the Yankees for Liriano, huh? See "Yankees Inquired On Francisco Liriano, Span" @ July 30, 2011 at 5:29pm - http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/minnesota_twins/. You wouldn't want to trade veteran players with no future on this team for young prospects that might actually help you in the future, now would you?

As much as I want this team to be successful, it's time to start rebuilding. Starting pitchers, bullpen, batting, fielding (our usual strongpoint) are not very good. Yes, it is nice to have all of these speedsters, but what good are they when they can't get on base. We'll have one great game followed by a couple of lousy ones. There is no chemistry here. Being as nice as I can without singling anyone out, but a single from them here and there would be helpful. Not a fair weather fan but we need to quit pretending we're contending.

Same starters at the beginning of the season. The stink remains.
