*finally* addressing a rather glaring issue. A step in the right direction, thanks.

I'll never understand how any professional athlete, getting paid a stupendous amount of money to play a game (albeit a game that is very tough on the body) can report to camp out of shape. What other "pressing" needs do these guys have during the offseason, such that they don't have time to stay in shape??? Personally, I'd love to get paid millions of $ to keep myself in top condition during the offseason...

Goodbye and good riddance McKinnie! Don't know how you've been able to keep your postition this long!

Two things you can count on in Minnesota, late summer: Mosquitoes and Mount McKinnie showing off his bubble gum body at camp...get a grip and get professional. Maybe now we can worry less about those "look out" blocks that McKinnie is famous for.

Bryant Mckinnie's impersonation of Albert Haynesworth is reprehensible. First we have AP's assinine comments about slavery and now this. These buffoons just do not get it. They are paid a prince's ransom to play a game and due to their gifts they have been coddled all their game playing years. Mr. Mckinnie's attitude is nothing more than carcinogenesis and will soon metastasize if not handled. I say cut him and let him suffer the consequence of his undiscipled decisions. P.S I'll bet that will not happen tho on account the UNION would say that is not prudent at this juncture.

There can be no excuse for a highly-paid NFL player to report to camp "out of shape." It's not like there aren't roads to run on or gyms to work out at -- they're all over the place. Dock his pay until he gets into playing shape. What a slacker. Or just cut him and give somebody else a chance -- somebody who really wants the job and will work for it.

there are plenty of players who would gladly take your job, you unmotivated slob

if only klink would have had the brains to do this years ago. might have made the difference in the playoffs.

Whenever there's a story about this guy I think back to the time when he was selected to play in the Pro-Bowl. How on God's green earth did that happen? Did every other O-lineman in the league decline the invitation? It was poetic justice when he was kicked off the squad for missing practice. It's almost like he knew he shouldn't have been there so he acted like a moron in order to get booted.

re: "motive myself"... Dear Mr. Berrian, that's what we've been afraid of.
