I understand that Mcnabb is the starter...what I don't understand is why they are starting out Ponder 3rd on the depth chart. Yes Webb does have the nfl experience but wasn't the reason we got Mcnabb so that Ponder can develop. He needs to get the reps with the number one team to develop. I don't know why they don't try putting Webb at receiver. We can't let his athletic ability waste on the bench. Atleast let him return punts or kicks but the signing of Ponder says that Webb isn't our future quarterback. Ponder is. Let him develop.

ENOUGH WITH THE WEBB EXPERIMENT...The kid has loads of talent and could be one of the leagues best receivers..especially considering his leaping ability, big hands and, yes, speed. DO NOT WASTE HIS TALENTS ON THE BENCH!!!!

Word on the "street" is Webb doesn't catch the ball very well. He can sure throw it though.

McNabb is with the Vikings to play QB not to coach Ponder or anyone else. That stuff is always over-hyped. Joe Webb wants to play QB too. The Vikings have a QB coach who will be coaching Ponder and Webb. They can pick up things from McNabb. Quit writing about how McNabb is going to be a great tutor,etc...

Wilf is hoping having McNabb's name will bring him a taxpayer funded stadium. No taxpayer money should be spent on stadiums for billionaire owners and millionaire players. Let Wilf pay for it, or let it be paid for by ticket prices, concessions, and souvenirs. Our state can't afford it.

I was hoping the Vikes would have relocated by now, after years of threats to do so..Looks like that won't happen until next year.

This is awesome! I love McNabb. The Wilfs are great owners, that will pay anything to win. Let show our appreciation by not only passing this current big bill for a new stadium, lets make it bigger. Of course you can just tax the metro area for it... Thanks guys! That stuff doesnt fly out here! Hopefully it is as nice as Target Field:) Oh but thanks for the farm funding, Ye Haw!

Mr. Do Nothing Rick Spielman should be fired. We actually have a roster that is worse talent wise than last year...WHEN WE FINISHED LAST. I see the delusional Mr. Wilf really likes this years team. Of course what is he going to say, they want a new stadium. I bet he liked last years team when they finished last. Sorry, but only the most optimistic fan thinks the Vikings have a chance of winning the division. Speilman has sent this team back for years with over paying for some players, his drafting and his general lack of knowledge to address the teams well known needs, like the offensive line. Wilfs waited way too long to pull the trigger in Childress, and they are doing the same thing with Speilman. Does anyone want the Wilfs in charge of our tax dollars to build a stadium. What a joke that would be.
