Thank you for righting this article people need to be aware that a lot of the money collected in the name of Autistic people is spent on bureaucracy and lobbying for pharmaceutical companies. Autism Speaks is a major offender, and they should be prosecuted for fraud.

Remember, most charities have paid directors (the CEO of The United Way makes over a million dollars a year). The best charity is one where you directly help another person instead of cutting a check. Then 100% of your money and effort goes to the cause.

I know a guy who gets over 130,000 each year for aids to drive his children around , summer camp and housecleaning because he has children on the autism spectrum, including one who operates at about a 14 year old level. This is as big of a waste as anything here.

I hate the headline!!!!!!!!!!!!! Many will read it and think there are no good autism charities. Why can't headlines be more honest for a change?????????
