Personally I can't stand McNabb. I think he is dumber than a can of paint and what has he ever proven except he can be decent during the season but then puke/choke in the playoffs. This move is atypical of this franchise which is why we have never won a superbowl. Rice had the right idea bolting for Seattle because he could see the writing on the wall if he would have stayed here. It will be tough to watch McNabb making a fool of himself and I only hope that Ponder gets to start sooner than later even though he might take his lumps. Ponder doesn't need McNabb as a mentor. I guarantee you that no team McNabb is quarterbacking for will ever win a superbowl. 4th place in the division is a distinct possibility so get ready all!!!!

McNabb always spanked the Vikes when he played against them. Maybe he will regain his confidence, you never know. What I do know is that the O-line is a sieve and he had better have his track shoes on when dropping back to pass. Against Detroit at home last year.. Favre dropped back 16 times, knocked down 15.. Spielman and Studwell have done what exactly to upgrade the O-line or secondary? As for being under the cap excuse, Favre 16 mil, Big Pat 5, Madieu 5 and Bernie 5 Tahi's 2mil 33 mil off the books and no worse off.

I'm less than thrilled about McNabb as well. I'm sure we'll all be hearing how all he has to do is his job and "manage" the game. Too many years of hearing that. I think what would be a great help is to sign Tony Richardson back. He was released by the Jets and he's he is still available we should grab him back.Petterson had a great rookie year following him. I still consider him one of the best blocking full backs in the league. With our o-line and it's questions, Richardson can help lead the way for Petterson. That would go along way to help the Vikes be the number 1 running team in the N.F.L. Then McNabb can more effectively "manage" the game.

Did he miss the writing on the wall in Seattle?

mamaluke Jul. 29, 11 12:08 AM What part of Mcnabb consistently representing the NFC in CHAMPIONSHIP GAME and taking the Eagles to the SUPER BOWL did you miss? Outside of TO he never had a receiver to throw too and Westbrook was a better receiver than a running back. Meaning HE made it happen. I do not how a "dumb" qb can do that. Is your hate for Mcnabb driven by something else? Would you rather have Hasselback? YOU'RE FUNNY

Well Frazier you think your going to win now with McNabb, Childress thought they were going to win now with Farve too. Hope you enjoy the trophy, Childress is. Oh that's right they didn't win a trophy well Frazier to bad, you put your career in the hands of the worst Qb in the NFL. Should of stuck with your first insinct, but you chicken out. I will be telling you I told you so if the near future. McNabb bad decision
