Since when did the Vikings trade Rice? Didn't he leave via free agency? Nice headline!!

I feel like I am possibly taking AP for granted, he's a workhorse that gives his all and improves himself every year (fumble improvement was HUGE). He's also not a distraction on a team that desperately needed it even while being the best player in the NFL. It will be sad whenever he leaves/gets traded/wanes.

AP making a two sentence comment on Twitter is not exactly "venting" is it? Once again Strib writers making a mountain out of a mole hill.

Seattle WAY overpaid for Rice. There are 10 free agents just as good as he is who aren't as injury-prone and will take less money. Rice just sabotaged his career by continuing to "try" to catch passes from T-Joke. He and Jackson won't win squat in Seattle, but I guess money is more important than winning to some people???

Letting Rice go was dumb, Our new coach won't last the season

The slavery comment was reason enough to ditch the clown AP. The fumble that lost the NFC championship is another reason

NFL single game rushing record, NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year, 5th person in NFL history to have over 3,000 yards in two years, 5tth fastest person in NFL history to reach 5,000 yards and 3rd highest average yards per game behind only Jim Brown and Barry Sanders. Yeah...dump him. You've got Gerhart to take his place.

$14 million per year for five years with $30 million guaranteed. But, he must rush for 2000 yards each year and score 25 touchdowns each year. Now that's a deal!

'Peterson due to make more' - wins award for the most blatantly obvious headline of the year. What's the next news flash - use warm clothing in the winter to keep warm.

Time to pay the franchise. This should have been the first thing they did, even prior to going after McNabb. Get him signed and do the same for Greenway. The cap numbers for this year go down and allow for signing a few more players and you lock up two of the best young players in the league, I don't understand what they are waiting for.
