The MYTH of tax cuts providing jobs, is going to kill the Republican party in the next elections. WHERE ARE THE JOBS BEING CREATED IN MINNESOTA? that's the question the Republicans have to answer. ----------------OK, without tax cuts, how are tax cuts suppose to create jobs???? There hasn't been a tax cut for 8 years.

Tax cuts allow people to spend their own money instead of the gov't stealing it for wasteful programs and give it away. Dayton needs to stop his spending - he and Obama are in the same sinking boat. Stop spending and STOP taxing!

Yes, Joe, and those past tax cuts really helped the job outlook, didn't they?? Can you hear my sarcasm, sir? And Mr. Zellers, with what the national GOP is pulling right now, the MN voters are going to be doubly re-inforced against the GOP. All those older people who bought into your spiel last time, woke up when they started hearing that THEIR benefits were on the chopping block.

The biggest question is who creates jobs. Government, or people that draw a salary that is enviable?

Bring those Pentecostal faith healers on. I will vote for the candidate that will use facts and reason to persuade me.

OK, stop and think about the people you know who earn over $250,000 per household. How many of them are actually small business owners? How many, instead, are two-income families of professionals? How many REALLY can create a job? And - of those who can - how many WOULD create a job just because of a tax cut? Only a dumb business owner - you add jobs when your orders justify it. If you get a tax cut, YOU KEEP IT. This whole busines of cutting taxes to create jobs is complete and total nonsense.

Rep. Joyce Peppin, R-Rogers, who chairs the House Government Operations and Elections Committee, says she, too, will be back to fight for changes. "Reforms are important," she said. "If they don't pass this year, I think we need to continue to look for ways to reform the state -- state government and education." Joyce, you're making an awfully big assumption that you'll be back. Also, even though you are in a pretty safe district, I think you're going to be a mighty lonely republican when sitting in chambers. Dayton kicked your backside this session and 70% of Minnesotans saw that. Wait until they start seeing the awful results of what you passed.
