There sure does seem to be some interest in this job. If David Kahn is not respected around the league then why are these big names lining up to interview for it? Maybe I am not the only one who sees that DK has made some good decisions and assembled a very nice roster with room for additions and raises. If he hires the right coach for this team they will be a lot of fun to watch.

nexus612....No, No, No!, it's the only available job right now that pays 4-5 million per year in this economy. I bet you'd quit your job tomorrow and take the position if Kahn offered it to you. I submitted my resume last week.

The Wolves need an experienced and steady figure at coach. I don't want to see a retread but I think you need a name that is a strong presence yet player-friendly and that will focus on defense and fundamentals. Personally I like Sam Mitchell or Bickerstaff. Nelson and Brown are accomplished, but not good fits. Brown is best for a Champion-ready team and Nellie will have no emphasis on D.

Hopefully a good coach finds an opportunity to turn around this struggling post-KG franchise and runs with it. Kurt's writing was on the wall. Nobody is asking for a championship next year, but there is more than enough glue here to build a reputation upon with someone reputable providing direction.

there's interest because the wolves are loaded with talent, many many lottery picks. i like nelson though he couldn't get much out of randolph, who perhaps has superstar talent. larry brown is a great coach who always does well with what he has--before he packs up and moves on inexplicably. though if he wants to coach here, i think they should sign him.

If Adelman wants the job Kahn should hire him. Rubio & Love are two of the best passers in basketball and Adelman will get the most out of their talents. He'll design pick n rolls with Love and let them run when they can. Adelman is the best choice for this young team.

There is certain ego involved in holding a job that a bunch of people want. Kahn is on an ego trip. Brown could cause me to say enough. Never really have liked him.

These senior citizen coaches may have a lot knowledge about basketball, but I don't think they can connect with the youthful players on Wolves roster. Young coach that have basketball knowledge and able to connect with the young players is better.

Is Kahn looking for an experienced coach or an elderly one? Four of the candidates are age 65 or older? Has Kahn checked the Twin Cities nursing homes yet? There's got to be a retired 80-85 year old coach that he can interview in one of these. Retired coaches in assisted living situations perhaps?

I sincerely hope that Kahn is doing the listening in these interviews. Don Nelson, Larry Brown etal. have forgotten more basketball than Kahn will ever know.
