Well David Kahn is like a "road show" selling a miracle drink" that cures all aches and pains. Only problem is he does not know what he is doing. Glen Taylor is a smart man he best figure out that what he really needs is a new GM to replace Kahn,

Most here seem to agree as I do: Fast breaks come off of steals and rebounds. Defense is established from hard work and discipline. In other words ,from coaching! We've got the YOUNGEST team in the league. They need someone who demands respect , and above all is defensive-minded. Smart, Young, Tough, and Intimidating!! Not a dinosaur looking for yet one more chance.

Absolutely, planells. Great defensive play is what enables fast break basketball. That was the very essence of the Showtime-era Lakers.

Wolves should consider a young coach to grow with the young players. Joerger should turn in his resume to the Wolves organization. An organization that is a bad the Wolves right now, shouldn't be married to a certain style of system. They should be opened to a coach that can teach the young players into a winning team.

Kahn is so much smarter than the rest. Go David! How did I know he and Taylor would be tight. What a rich history!

More proof Kahnny boy needs to go. Why doesn't Kahnny boy realize it takes a well known head coach that has a proven winning record to make us into a winner. Oh I know it is about MONEY. In order to get a proven winner it takes what? MONEY. Well if we had a winner well known head coach the players would believe in him because he knows what it takes to be one. But what does it take to get that type of well known coach oh I know it takes MONEY. Instead of spending it to get one we keep a idiot of a GM in Kahnny boy and get bargain basement wanna be head coaches that are perrienial losers. This is the bottom line get rid of Kahnny replace him with someone who has played the game and knows alot about basketball and knows talent when they see it and hire Nelson or Aldelman or some proven well known head coach. Quit being a tight wad and fishing for a possible diamond in the rough head coach and make us a winner or get rid of the Timberwolves entirely. End of comment.

Run away while you can!

I think it's funny that everyone was saying that no coach would want to work here because of Kahn, when in truth it looks like everyone is interested in the position. -- I guess in the Michele Bachmann world we live in you got your facts, I've got mine.

tjtwinsfan, what on earth are you smoking? This article is about a 50-game winner; who are you looking for the Wolves to hire? They are bringing in everyone (except van Gundy who is happy on TV). It's not like they are interviewing the Tim Brewsters or Randy Wittmans of the world.
