Sounds like plenty of people on the public dole were there. Taxpayers were at work figuring out how to pay for $4 billlion in new spending. So draconian! LOL!

A sincere thank you on behalf of the taxpayers to the Republicans for keeping a finger in the dike of state spending. You guys have a thankless job. $4 billion dollars and new spending and you're still villians?????

Is this reporting or an editorial? Seems awfully slanted. You try to make numbers sound small, but we should be supporting everyone not picking segments of the population that don't need support. Why is anyone more important that another? Why is my money OK to take and distribute to others?

I hope those kids are told both sides of the story so they can make their own decisions; not taught only one side (could it be teaching them liberal bias...?).
