There are thousands of people from out of town/state/country attending the tournament. I would say that is worth mentioning in articles about severe weather.

Glad no one, that I have heard, was hurt. I was downtown when the storm rolled thru and it was awesome. Both before the rain and during. Mother Nature can put on a show!

the description of a thunderstorm is now news...sigh. We must be the only ones ever to experience a thunderstorm. I guess that leaves all the USA Cup "out of towners" without a clue as to what is happenning with our sky.

I certainly hope that Lauren Hanson receives a job offer. Any job candidate who weathers conditions like that for an interview deserves an offer. Very positive attributes for any employer.

I feel for the woman in the picture. Back in 2003, my car was 9 months old and in a flash flood in St. Louis Park. $6800 in damage, but I still have it today. I would always advise to carry comp on you vehicle, which I've done from day one.
