The republican's budget allocated $20 million to metro transit compared to the $120 million they get now. It just proves their $34 billion budget was completely unrealistic.

"Shutdown proves how big brother government has their tentacles in everything we do.".....Oh, and I thought the government shutdown wouldn't affect most people, that it would the uselessness of their involvement. Funny, but that's what government does and it does it to protect all of us and level the playing field for the members of this society. Tell me, which involvements would you get rid of, and why? I will bet that every item you come up with will be heartily defended by all those affected by it.

The republican's budget allocated $20 million to metro transit compared to the $120 million they get now. It just proves their $34 billion budget was completely unrealistic. Money can be moved within the $34B without impacting the total. Nice leap of logic though. The question is where will the money not be spent? Unless a different question pervails in your mind. Like who/what can be taxed to pay for this?
