This doesn't seem like the most responsible thing to do. He's supposed to represent his district. How can he best do this while traveling between here, DC and New Hampshire? I think this decision will - rightfully so - hurt his chances of reelection.

Personally, the move is probably the right decision for his family; however, he should opt not to run for re-election. Move to NH, establish yourself there, and run again.

Dems can't say anything. Oberstar' mansion, where he lived full time, was only a few miles outside of Washington D.C.

If your family is important to you, I can respect that. However, your constituents become your family when you get elected to Congress. Chip you cannot have this both ways! Cancel the move or resign your seat.

Tarrly Clark didn't move to Duluth. She just bought a condo there so she could run for office there because she knew she couldn't beat Bachmann in her true home district. Why those people keep electing Bachmann over, well, anyone with a pulse is another story, but I regress. Clark's "move" was purely political--and pathetic.
