As long as Perkins can avoid arm troubles he will be key in the bullpen. Right now he's an example of why the Twins should take their time before giving up on any pitcher who has experienced arm troubles.

Perkins should probably be the closer or at least be given more of a chance to earn it.

Perkins needs to remain a staple in the bullpen (6/7/8th innings.) Otherwise we have to deal with the other warts blowing games before Perkins can even get in the game to close it out! In a perfect world I'd like to see Nathan given another shot at it. How Capps keeps it over Nathan blows my mind.

Perkins, what a plus out of nowhere, You have to like this guy for how he has progressed from gopher to twin!

Isn't this the guy everybody was demanding be traded or cut?

The best change we have seen in Perk is his attitude. When he was whinning around to reporters about not being treated like a star I was in favor of trading him. It seems like he got the message and has changed his attitude. Span has to go to left to replace Young for defensive purposes or now is a good time to trade him or Young.

The gun at US Celluar field is notorious for being "hot". Everybody throws 3-4 MPH faster there, so don't get the undies in a bunch over a higher number at USCF.

"Outfielder Delmon Young, who is recovering from a sore right ankle, was 0-for-4 Friday at Class AAA Rochester."... Looks like he's back to normal and can step into the lineup at any time.

I like giving Baker additional rest between starts. Relieved to hear that Baker himself believes this elbow strain isn't as serious as the strain he suffered before, but any strain could turn into possible Tommy John surgery. Here's hoping that that will NEVER be the case, and that he will continue his hot pitching he has shown the last month or so. Go Twins!

Doesn't make sense he's throwing harder than ever? Test him for PED's... seems the only logical explaination here.
