Seems if it generates money it will be denied but if it consumes money it will be considered essential. Go figure.
"She also says 14 former constitutional officers including several former governors should keep getting retirement benefits. That costs about $37,000 a month"----- SERIOUSLY? You HAVE to be joking! THIS is essential? It's VERY easy to see that this JOKE of a judge is doing nothing more than cater to the whims of Dayton and his supporters. Why even have a shutdown? Deny EVERYTHING, and make these clowns collectively come up with a solution. This is just plain crazy! ANYTHING, (lottery, etc.) that brings IN money is shut down, yet the areas that SPEND money is kept open? I don't get it?
the judges are making a mockery of the mockery. nothing but pathetic. the states population should be zero in about another two weeks.
oh, I meant for people not on the public dole
tax the rich
Is there any word about child care assistance being back on yet?
This is outrageous! There are 20,000+ laid-off State employees that will not be receiving their checks as well as many services shutdown. Since when is paying retired official pensions an essential service? I am sure that Arne Carlson can live a few months without his $7,570.22 monthly pension, Joan Growe $5,007.39, Hubert Humphrey III $4,459.45/month and Warren Spannaus $6,074.19/month.
just keep the freeway ramp stop lights working.
HOW IS THAT DFL left theory workin for ya? CNBC correctly was reporting today the big problem in MN is the result of liberal politics and theory for way too long.
Now you people are finding out what the DFL
has been doing with your tax dollars all these
years.....It has to stop !!!!
