i love the comment by Johnson the loan Viking there. I hope to see Berrian and Shincoe and whoever else in the upcoming weeks. These guys are having a hard time making any workout, weren't they no shows at Ponders workouts last month! No wonder Berrian sucks!

I was at Fitz's camp last week and he told me that the viking's "purple jinx" is real and that is why Sidney Rice refuses to sign with the purple. Looks like Chicago will be signing Rice soon!!!

Larry has already let Rice know that the "Purple Jinx" will never go away and if he wants a Super Bowl Ring he will have to play somewhere other than with the vikings. Rice replied and said "You don't have to tell me that, did you see the NFC Championship game a couple years ago when A.P., Favre, Harvin, Berrian and Colonel Klink choked the game away??? I experienced the (purple) jinx first hand Fitz and that was my only chance to get to the Super Bowl in a viking uniform. Chicago here I come'!!!

Why wouldn't players take part in this type of training program? Especially Viking players. Fitz is a sets a tremendous example on the field. If Sid Rice wants to leave the Vikings, see you later. Go to the Bears with your arthitic hip and play with Cutler. Then Rice can blame Cutler when he bombs.

Sad that our future QB organizes a camp in Florida and players no-show or ignore it....yet a player (granted from MN) from another team can host a camp and get such a great turnout....by other team's players. To all the Vikings players (vets or otherwise)....way to show your fans you are committed to a "team" championship!

Where is Ponder? He is a no-show here just as much as Berrian was a no-show in Florida. Don't you think a rookie quarterback would do whatever it takes to participate in his new home state with a pro the caliber of Larry Fitzgerald? He sounds like somewhat of a fraud in passing up this great opportunity.

RE/BBJoe----I thought I read in a strib article, that Ponder is working out in a camp, run by Peyton Manning in Indianapolis. Hey look everbody!!!----purplegod has a new moniker!!! His alternate identity now is nowilfare!!!

Did a quick google search on Ponder workouts and saw nothing this year with Manning or any other pro workout camp, but did find an article that Jaymar Johnson was trying to get him to attend the Fitzgerald camp. No proof as to what he is up to, but also no proof as to what any other Viking is up to. Except Jaymar Johnson at the Fitzgerald camp in Minnesota.
