The plight of Minnesota's economy can be blamed on the millionaires of Minnesota, who are hoarding their money. It is time we have a more progressive tax system where we capture these assets so we can build new housing in order to end homelessness in Hennepin County in the name of social justice!

why dont we fee the rich? If it is alright for the middle class, the rich should have no problem with it.

i say we fee the rich, that way republicans can still say they didn't raise taxes. worked for the last 8 years, why not now? Get the state running again repubicans and compromise!!!

Let's go to a flat percentage for taxes. If we give the first $20,000 income tax free to everyone, then tax rest at an equal percentage regardless of income. Eliminate all exemptions, deductions, and credits. Then no one can say if isn't fair.

The fact that here, in Minnesota Nice, even one person gave a disparaging remark shows the disdain the public has for Republican legislators. The only real proof we will have for that disdain will come in November 2012. Most of us Minnesotans won't voice displeasure to your face but we will show our displeasure by voting you out of office.

Do you ever see Al and Amy in public? Keith Ellison? Guessing that even if they did show up for public events in MN, the local press wouldn't mention signs and hecklers.
