Does anyone really care what these last generation tax raisers think? Guaranteed they'll both say the GOP needs to throw away their principles, lie to the voters who put them there and raise taxes.
And just who would care what these two washed up has beens have to say about anything?
These are two good solid public servants who love the state and country. One Democrat and one Republican. I will keep an open mind as to what they say and hope they can act as a catalyst to moving forward to an intelligent and fiscally responsible solution before we incur more debt and wasted costs. I suspect they will recognize the need to increase revenue as part of the package. Will the TEA party listen?
Why can't these two washed-up politicians just stay faded away? Does every former office holder have to try to get back in the limelight? Does anyone believe these two have anything to say that hasn't already been considered and rejected? Carlson is just a liberal rino former republican. This is as bad as Carter and Clinton constantly trying to be involved in current events. Please just go away.
Now, gosh, I wonder what these two gentlemen will say. So hard to imagine. I'm guessing that they will say that an extra $4 billion in the budget constitutes "cuts" too deep, and that back in their day, when everyone agreed that taxes were good, they didn't have these problems.
Yeah, really hard to guess.
This ought to be interesting.
Arne Carlson was a moderate, fiscally-responsible governor. I'll be interested to hear what he has to say about all this.
They have no authority or right to comment. They are two broken down politicians. No more sideshows. Just sign the bills Mark.
politicians who actually did something ... Those were the days my friend ... Mary Hopkin circa 1968...
These are men who understand that government is not the enemy, government is community. Listen to them.
