Gardy did the right thing.

I think that it is good for Capps to be fired up. He needs to be after the two extemely shaky outings he's had the last two times out. With how he performed on Saturday, I was surprised that Gardy put him back out there against a team that roughed him up the day before. It would be nice to see Nathan come back, regain his closer role for the rest of the season, the Twins have a no-stress 9th inning for once, and they get a good prosect for Capps. Maybe if Nathan continues his resurgence after his rehab, he could regain his closer spot and resign with the Twins, with them knowing he is back to full health after the surgery.

So Capps is possibly upset that he got pulled. Well he has no one to blame, but himself. Gardy pulled him a Perkins saved the game. Good decision on Gardy's part and good performance by Perkins who looks like he is finally maturing and has found a role he can succeed in. Go Twins.

Capsy: you can be the 8th inning guy now and Nathan/Perk can do the closing - You lost your job as closer - sorry.

To Mr. Capps... If you don't like being pulled, then do your job and get people out. You've blown six save opportunities this year and Saturday night was pathetic. Then you put two guys on in the 9th on Sunday with the dangerous Fielder up to bat. There isn't a Twins fan in the world, including Gardy, that wanted to watch you blow another one. In essence, Gardy chose to "save" YOU and the Twins from another potential embarrassing loss.

Good bye Cappy. Don't let the door hit you on the way out and all that. You have blown too many leads. Adios. Go do your "save" thing with some other team. How about signing with the New York? Yeah, go help out the Yankees.

Nathan and Perkins need to be the 8th and 9th inning guys. Let them sort out which one closes. Let Capps come in and eat up innings if the Twins are getting their clocks cleaned. He can't be used in close ballgames

Capp's is terrible and was a terrible waste of our best position prospect. If he doesn't want to pulled in the middle of an inning he needs to pitch better. It's that simple.

Wait a minute... does Capps really get paid for what he does?! I'm old, but I can throw away ball games as well as he does. Put me in Gardy.

If you want to keep a job, you have to earn it, but Capps is not completely to blame for the horrific loss on Saturday. Some bad defense and no offense after the 4th inning.
