Bias in the press is sometimes subtle, sometimes obvious. When you edit the quote of a R legislator to include (deficit), AFTER said legislator voted for a balanced budget, does it show bias? The sentence is complete and accurate without the "clarification". Certainly the legislator is aware the budget is an issue, and is stating as much. But why add to the quote? My point is not the status of the budget, but the objectivity of the reporting if that is an appropriate edit to a quote.

Let's continuing holding out until Zigi & the Vikings & the NFL pay for the whole stadium themselves. No public money for private profit. Corporate Welfare=Corporate Fascism.

The viking's new stadium will without a doubt be the world's LARGEST and most expensive structure ever built to house an EMPTY Super Bowl trophy case!!!

Apparently it's OK to ask for higher taxes when the money goes to pay for something you want. Interesting how that works.

The state needs to totally drop out of financial backing. Give Ramsey County permission to raise their sales tax as much as needed and combine it with Wilf's contribution. It's then the baby of Ramsey Co. and Wilf and they can run it as they see fit. NO STATE MONEY.

Why are these republicans willing to force a government shutdown over their no-new-taxes pledge, but then go behind closed doors and work out a deal for a huge tax hike to build a stadium?

Why are all of you hating on Vikings stadium deal and Wilfs!? I know most of you if not all of you will be crying if the Vikes do end up leaving the STATE so please stop talking crap. You didn't hate on them when they broguht Favre and almost took us all the way and I bet some of you were outside the facilty waiting for to see Favre when he first arrived with childress for the first time and were in love with Childress and the Vikes.

Whoa, hold on a second. The 'cost' of the new stadium just dropped by $200 million?? How? Why? Who? Where? Watch the books on this one closely. If the Wilfs are losing $200M, they would have hit the road to California for sure. Way too much smoke and mirrors here.
