There were lots of fans who wanted him to succeed (me included), but he never improved to a higher level despite the playing time that was invested in him. Maybe he should be a man and admit he just isn't a very good NFL QB.

T-jack's fate was sealed when Colonel Klink was fired mid-way through last season. Colliding with AP during a routine hand-off and then hurting himself by tripping over his own shoelaces during the same game didn't help his cause either. This man has no business in the NFL, his best shot is to catch on with a team in the CFL or UFL and maybe just maybe he can get another shot as a back-up again.

It was nice of Tarvaris to sit down and talk with JuggZ. Always struck me as one of good guys. Best of luck to you, T-Jax. You've shown your capable of being an NFL QB so just give it your best shot.

I will not miss Jackson's jump passes or his deer in the headlight look while on the sidelines. Unfortunately for Webb, Jackson's horrific play cast doubt on Webb's ability and Ponder was drafted. That pick needed to go toward the offensive line especially with how horrible the play has been. It's insane how after the Championship game in 09 the line has not been addressed. Mcskinnie at 400+#'s aging Hutch, too small and oft hurt Sullivan, Herrera whiffed as much as Tahi and Loadholt regressed after a decent rookie campaign. Status quo is not going to get it done... it will be a very long brutal beating for whomever is at QB.. I guess Jackson is lucky in that respect.

T-Jack was a good teammate but a bad QB. He could have really made a stink here in Minnesota but he did't. Realistically though he should have been off the roster after 2008, the year he displayed beyond the shadow of a doubt that he didn't have what it took to be a starting caliber NFL QB. Wow, a good post from purplegod (aside from the obligatory Col. Klink jibe, and I didn't see anything about a jinx, your slipping up antihomer, this is not your A Game)

As long as he "embraces his uncertain future" anywhere other than here.

i'd laugh if he went and won a super bowl someplace else.

Jackson always has handled his Viking experience with class. Good luck in the future, both in football and in your life.

Don't know the young man other than what I saw on the field but he seemed level headed when interviewed. For what it's worth IMO if he gets picked up at all it will be as a number 2 or 3 QB, not to compete as a starter. The late & unlamented Coach Chilly drafted him in a slot T-Jack couldn't poossibly fill skills-wise and which brought on fan expectations he like-wise proved unable to fulfill. I sure hope he graduated college and is willing to work like an everyday joe, as I suspect his NFL career may be ending sooner than later...

T-Jack got a raw deal from the team & MN fans. How many QB's drafted in the 2nd round are expected to start and do well in their 2nd year. His problem was that he was Chilly's guy and was guilty by association. Good Luck T-Jack!
