I am already way too disgruntled as fan to even care what the league agrees to. I have already decided that I won't be buying anything that supports the NFL. I'll pay my cable bill and watch games at home in HD.

WOW, look at thos cheeseball shorts Marino is wearing. Great QB but really bad fashion sense, bac in the late 80's Marino was the official spokesman for Zubaz.

Is there a decent book out about the 1987 season?

I'm convinced that the '87 Vikes would have won the Super Bowl had we not lost any shot at HFA when the replacement guys went 0-3. By the time we played the 'Skins in the NFCCG, our guys were worn out and flu-ridden from all of the travel and must-win games down the stretch. Still, we nearly beat them in D.C. Few remember what an easy time Washington had in the Super Bowl. We could have outdone 'em and won by 50 had we even one home playoff game.

'87- the last time I held season tickets. The Vikes weren't offerign refunds for minor league football ... Come to think of it, the Wolves and Wild haven't offered refunds for putting out a minor league product either- and they haven't even been on strike!

Nothing like watching millionaires strike! We certainly better pay for their stadium too, or they'll picket the unfair work conditions.

Pretty cool story, especially for some of the younger fans like myself who were way too young to watch football back then.
