Devin Setoguchi fit the bill as a proven young scorer, bolstering the case to part with the popular defenseman.

Really? There wasn't another foward worth taking? Really wish we could have traded down. The last thing we needed was another d-man. We have two studs coming up from the Aeros next year, we can't score enough goals to compete with Eden Prairie, last years pick will be skating across the pond another year! And we draft another young defensemen who won't be able to contribute for another couple years. Nice job boys. Gonna be another boring year at the X!

Who needs offense anyway, right?

His strengths sound a like like Nick Leddy's, a previous No. 1 choice. Oops, too bad we traded him away.

Wild don't need D, they are a joke!! I hate to say it but go Jets! They have to be more fun to watch than the Wild.

Oh, come on JRB, Barker was well worth Leddy and Johnsson, and he only cost $3.1 million a year.

Wow, at first blush I really like the sound of this blockbuster trade!

The Wild are quickly becoming as irrelevant as the Timberwolves. We average less than 2 goals a game and we draft a 17 year old defenseman? Glad I didn't renew this year!

dot dot dot and a bowl of soup. Wild is nearly as relevant as the team with HQ at 169 and 494. Hockey needs to go sans uniforms like in Slapshot. Mugging is as interesting as soccer-like scoreless games.

Burns is great and I'll miss him. But they got a lot in return. Good work, Fletcher.

Nice trade Fletch! Two first round picks and Setoguchi for Burns?!! NICE!! That sure makes up for drafting another defenseman!!
