Boy o Boy-now that's a Twin's box score suitable for framing.

Can't win em all I guess. We just got beat plain and simple today. Don't see any errors on the board. The SP played well enough to win. Our offense just ran into an excellent pitcher. Games like these happen. Let's not loose our heads that the twin *gasp* lost a series. This was a weekly occurance just a few months ago.

Back to reality.

I cannot believe Joe Mauer had the day off. He has been back for less than a week. He DH'd on Sunday, Monday off day, Tuesday rainout. I think he only has one hit anyway but it is very disappointing that he gets so much time off. What a baby!

They will get back on track once they start playing games within the division. Especially after getting Span and Kubel back. Thome is supposed to be back on the bench over the weekend and that certainly can't hurt either. Michael Cuddyer is the real star on this team. He is the only one to have multiple hits in last nights loss and the only rbi in todays game!

Sorry folks but it's reality baseball Twins style. I thought winning a bunch of winnable games was great; but, the reality of this Twins team was displayed today. Against better competition, there was no competition. Cuddyer now has three base-running gaffes over the past few games, any one else, that's splinter time on the bench. Every game counts, whether it's April, June or September, and today was Gardehire's "get-away" line up. It's like he just concedes defeat and wants to be first on the plane.

Is it me, or in the new Twins ad, does Gardy,in his blonde mullet, look eerily like Randy "The Ram" Robinson in the movie "The Wrestler"?
