Enes Kanter was ineligible at Kentucky, so the 6-11 prospect is making the rounds to boost his draft stock.

Kanter is riskier than Williams. Probably a longer term pick. Probably risky enough for Kahn. Nothing will surprise me.

He's too tall=injury prone.

Being tall doesn't necessarily mean he's injury-prone. That's a ridiculous comment, sandmann. Dirk Nowitzki, who is 7'0", hasn't played in less than 73 games (which he did this year) since 1998. While Kanter is a riskier pick, would I be okay with his selection? Yes. Until someone provides me with verification that Derrick Williams will indeed be a super-stud, I am okay with either his selection or Kanter. No one else though.

Kanter fills a need, and Williams is the same player as Beasley. If Beasley is in the process of growing up, he will be as good or better than Williams. I guess I'm OK with either guy, but we seem to always have huge holes - no one worth keeping - at 3 positions. If Kanter is what he looks like, we could scratch one of those holes off the board. Ricky is supposed to fill another hole (I don't think so . . .), so draft Honeycut at 20 along with Kanter and we have made a move at all 3 of our main holes, C, PG and SG.

If you take Kanter you have to trade down a few spots and pick up an asset. Trade the number 20 pick and something else to get into the lottery next year.

Everything I've heard about Williams and Kanter makes this a tough pick. I think we need a tough inside defensive presence. Whichever of the two is more capable of filling that void should be chosen. Let the experts decide that and I don't mean Kahn.

David Kahn likely believes the Wolves can grab Ralph "Steal Of The Draft" Sampson3 in the second round of next year's draft, so he'll pass on Enes Kanter and take Derrick Williams if both are available after Cleveland picks.

So in the last year, the #1 and #3 (by some accounts) players available in the NBA draft played in just 11 games between them. How pathetic is that?

If you get Williams and Honeycut this year, just keep them and go find 2 solid veterans, and we'll be pretty solid talent wise. A veteran coach would also help, we might win 35+ games.

I'd like to see them trade down to four and still get Kanter. He has a really high upside, but a guy that didn't play last year is hard to take at 2. Williams isn't much, if any, better than Beasley. I'd rather just keep Beasley and pass on Williams. A Kanter (C), Love (PF), Beasley (SF), Johnson (SG), Rubio (PG) lineup would be ridiculously young and exciting. Even if they only won 22 games, it'd be a fun season. I'd be a heck of a backcourt and they'd all get time to develop together.
