Sounds like Drew just needs to convince himself that every day is Father's Day! Great way to end the game.

Wow, a column is devoted to a guy who not only shouldn't be in the Majors, but who never should have been in the Majors? Can someone do me a favor and look up Drew Butera's minor league stats? Having this guy on the roster is like a slap in the face.

Great column; great job Drew, and great game Twins!! He may have been struggling, but it is great to see him come through like that, and it is always enjoyable watching the team celebrate a win. Keep it up, the team is slowly climbing in the standings, and if you can't make it to the ballpark they have turned their games into must see TV.

Always entertaining to watch posters like pizzaloony who have a black cloud hanging over their heads 24/7. If the Twins somehow ever managed to win another World Series, twits like this downer would find things to bitch about.

I like that the AAA Twins have been putting it together and winning games. Sometimes surprisingly. Fun! Kinda feel sorry for the Padres--they are loosing a lot, like the Twinks not long ago. We'll see.... What's the mantra? oh, yah, One game at a time.

He is the worse hitter in baseball and worse even than some National league pitchers.Good for him but even his game winner was lucky.Guess Gardy will have an excuse to keep him up here now anyway.

Trade Mauer, we got Butera!! Atleast Butera wants to play, and doesn't fake an injury.

Mauer better turn it on soon or he'll be the third best hitting catcher on the Twins roster.
