Too bad about Kubel: he was the Twins most formidible player this year until he went on DL. /// "Jim Thome appears to be ahead of outfielders Jason Kubel and Denard Span." Thome ain't no outfielder. Be careful, Bill Smith; don't need a DH till July.

romer, correction for you: The Twins play the Dodgers at home on June 27,28,29. But that is "almost" July, so you are forgiven.

I can't wait to see Thome get number 600. Every time he comes to the plate, there is that anticipation of what is to come.

Yes they are playing better at this point, and granted, when and if everyone is healthy again they may me close by the break, but, nevermind...
