Too bad about Kubel: he was the Twins most formidible player this year until he went on DL. /// "Jim Thome appears to be ahead of outfielders Jason Kubel and Denard Span." Thome ain't no outfielder. Be careful, Bill Smith; don't need a DH till July.

romer, correction for you: The Twins play the Dodgers at home on June 27,28,29. But that is "almost" July, so you are forgiven.

I can't wait to see Thome get number 600. Every time he comes to the plate, there is that anticipation of what is to come.
