What a fantastic idea! Job creation and skilled workers with experience all in one. This is the future, do not let the old men attitude over-shadow such forward and innovative thinking and providing for the future generations of this country! Kudos! The beauty of this program it does not force one to take classes that have absolutely nothing to do with the area of expertise and costs so much less. Those looking at 20 years of repaying student loans just to sit behind a desk and whine do not have what it takes to participate in forward thinking. Living for the moment died with the 1980's thank goodness. Good Job Ajax & Hennepin Tech!

I have lived in Fridley since 1986. This story represents the Fridley I want to live in. Training gets people working and contributing to society. The other Fridley story today is about man who has multiple felony convictions, most involving weapons. Earlier this week I was accosted at the grocery store by a women who was either on drugs or just plain mean. Take your guns, drugs, and attitude and go somewhere else.

Too bad Obama is happily DESTROYING jobs with his never-ending demands for tax increases. Increased income taxes, investment taxes, excise taxes, medical device revenue taxes, carbon taxes... Obama isn't satisfied with the USA having the 2nd highest taxes in the world. Oh no. He wants the HIGHEST taxes in the world. Yeah, that will create lots of jobs, won't it? In Obama's simian brain, it does.

bigmamma1954 - You do grasp that this company has been in business 66 years and this is not 'new' for them, right? Stop patting yourself on the back for such 'progressive' thinking. This has nothing to do with your party re-inventing the wheel. It's just that now that you've found someone else's wheel, you want to take credit. (Hello, Al Gore, inventor of the internet!)
