I'm sure Zygi will "punish" the folks in Mankato because he hasn't gotten his new taxpayer funded stadium inked yet. Mankato has done nothing but roll out the red carpet for the purple and Wilf is ready to pull the plug on them.

Did you read the article? There will not be time for a training camp due to the lockout. It has nothing to do with the stadium. It would not make sense with a short training camp to go to Mankato.

What do they care? They are still millionaires/billionaires! The good folks in Mankato takes the hit. I'm sure it's a nice shot in the arm financially and now it will be gone. I know Flagstaff, AZ will lose millions if the Cardinals don't show!

I am someone who sells at one of the local antique malls in Mankato and not having the Vikings training camp in Mankato will mean a huge loss of business that we would normally get when the Vikings are in town.

Hard to complain about the Wilfs if you were around for the Red McCombs days. Maybe 'theWilfster' has only been a fan for 4 years and doesn't have a clue.

MOVE the training camp location, back to Bemidji! Just like back in the day. That would air tight. PS: the lockout will be done, by next week anyways. GO VIKS!

Hopefully this lockout gets solved and camp starts on time, in Mankato. I went to school there and can tell you that it is a huge deal to the town. It is kind of funny to see posts on here about how it brings money to Mankato, but when debating the stadium, people say there is no economic benefit and that people's entertainment dollars would just go to other things. So I guess by that mode of thinking, the people that would go to Mankato for Vikes training camp, will still go anyway and spend the same amount of money. Sound stupid? It is.

Farve messed with Mankato last year by not showing, and the results were evident during the regular season. These are basically a bunch of immature over paid folks. You're better to give your money and attention to youth or high school teams.
