Francisco Liriano didn't get a no-hitter like he did on May 3, but his performance Sunday was better.

I'm sure the know it alls on the board will feel that now is the time for Cuddyer and Liriano to be traded. Might as well move them now while they are hot. Right?

If we finish .500 and go 18-0 against the White Sox, it will be a successful season!

A fun game to watch with super pitching and some sparkling plays on defense. Gardy was putting on hit and run plays with the right people on base. That, too, was fun to see. Repko's great catch kept Liriano's string going a bit longer. Rivera's defensive game was impressive as well. Liriano isn't an easy assignment for a catcher but Rivera did well. Cuddyer's versatility is a great asset, and when he contributes offensively, too, that's even better. It's easy to see why his manager thinks he should be on the all-star team.

This team is the hottest in the majors right now!! I've been saying along that the season is a marathon, not a sprint and that they will put together some long winning streaks to gain the Division! I'm liking our chances in the post-season!!

i can understand if some fans at the park could have been a little bit sorry not to see history made by the same pitcher having 2 no hitters in 1 month. but WOW, what great pitching lately. i just saw 3 pitchers needed in 2 days, and they only gave up 2 runs! ; against one of the 2 best teams in baseball last year; and still one of the better ones this year. the real history this year could be made if the TEAM can win the central after such a bad start. 7 and 1/2 games made up in 15 days?. [ .500 possible by aug.] ok? it is worth watching the same game on re-run again lately.
