The whole team is soft. It's beyond pathetic. What I wouldn't give for a team full of gamers who actually played when they were banged up. I want a team with players who are pissed when the manager gives them a day off. Players on championship caliber teams play EVERYDAY! They play THROUGH aches and pains. This team is pathetic.

Morneau deserves a lot of credit for trying to play through his very apparent, diagnosable ailments. However, I think it is just plain stupid to not put him on the DL already. What are they waiting for? Let the cortisone set in, let him rest and deal with his neck for awhile, and then bring him back after the 15 days. Why do the Twins mgmt constantly mis-manage their own ailing players?

Every team has injuries and bad luck but this is ridiculous. I think some of this has to fall back on the resposibility of the players during the off-season (which doesn't really exist any more), the trainers, and the manger getting them ready in spring training. As I initially sated some of these are just bad breaks but some of this I believe speaks to the players conditioning.

Hook of the Hamate injury is my guess. Notorius among golfers and...you guessed it, baseball players. If you don't think so, try google. Sorry Justin but the kitty is out of the bag?

Heck get rid of those high dollar bums. Seems the replacements THAT REALLY WANT TO PLAY BASEBALL are resurecting the Twins way.

I'm sorry, I really am, but why can't Mauer DH against the Sox on Tuesday? Why the Miracle? How many rehab games does he need? He says he feels good, so let him swing in some games. Having Mauer at 70% is better than Butera at 100%, or even 150% for that matter. This season is really bumming me out.

Also, Rivera managed a great game today with Liriano - any chance of him staying up with the club when Joe returns - not a chance in he--
