I'm in total agreement with Chris on this one. I sold my house at the advanced age of 51 and purchased a single level townhome. I absolutely love it! No stairs, no yard work, no outside maintenance. I can go to work and come home without worrying about snow in the driveway or mowing the lawn or watering the lawn. I still have a yard but I don't have to take care of it which allows me to be free to pursue interests that are more fun. : )

At the ripe old age of 33 I sold my house of 7 years for a downtown brownstone. No regrets. I save so much money and time. No more yard work, no more expensive projects. The association takes care of most things...even window washing. I also love the security and heated parking.
