There has NEVER been a better time to invest in Real Estate. 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014...2020.

I also blame them for the housing problems we are facing today. They knew or should have known how these homes were overpriced, but, to make a buck, honestly or not, was their game.

This is terribly misleading. Real estate agents are NOT employees. I believe they are independent contractors. I think the company is just trying to get free advertising.

Angel, I'd agree with you except for one thing. I know a large number of agents who bought (or continued to buy) investment property themselves throught the years 2004-2010. It they really knew, they wouldn't have done it. The biggest issue was not that no one knew a downturn had to come, it's that so few realized how deep it would be. In 2006 (might have been 2007-can't remember) I personally attended a meeting with David Seiders, who was the federal housing economist at the time. Mr. Seiders said MN would be trending up by the end of the following year. Bottom line-a few knew, but many more didn't. Like any other sales business, you build your life by building your client list and doing things wrong doesn't do that. There are many bad apples in every profession, but don't paint the brush too broad...
