Forget all this. Does anyone else want Kahn anywhere need the NBA Draft again?

Ah no taxpayer subsidy of $650 million for the choke artist Vikings! Whoever issues a bond for these losers is on the hook if the B.S. tax revenues fall short...and that would be the taxpayers!! The NFL and the Vikings can build an open air stadium near downtown St. Paul!

Why should we subsidize millionaire jocks living in Florida McMansions, an owner living in New Jersey, NFL wives/mistresses/call girls wearing fur coats! How about a media tax on local TV stations (those news anchors like Julie Nelson make $1.5 million a year!), newspapers and radios, least a couple of million each!

God forbid letting the players pay a bit for a stadium they play in...

The NFL doesn't believe an income tax surcharge on the players is legal?? Well, is it or isn't it? They know the answer, that's all they do for a living. It must be legal or they wouldn't bring it across in that manner. They just don't want the players to have to pay anything for their own "home." The players should not have to pay, the owner should pay as little as possible, and we should pay the rest. Why not just admit that and be done with it? The fans aren't that stupid, give us some credit, they want us to pay for everything. Don't forget to threaten to move to LA again it you don't get your way. That line is also getting old. But some fans fear it, so they will keep using it.

Every player who PLAYS an NFL game in Minnesota whether it be someone on the Vikings or the opposing team MUST file taxes in the state of Minnesota. That's a lot of money when you added it all up.

Since when do beggars get to become choosers? A tax on the player's is like spit in the ocean, but at least it does put some financial burden on those benefiting from the facility. And the NFL thinks this is unconstitutional? These book-cooking schemers must have muscled past the ACLU into the forefront of those protecting our constitution. I know I would certainly trust the NFL hierarchy with matters requiring examination of that great document because we all know the NFL has no ulterior motives for their actions. Just like you, Sid. Always looking out for us. And Sid, just like you continue to over-inflate your role with the old Lakers, you know try to inflate your prominence in the move to bring the NFL here. Yes, you played a role. But not nearly as large as you would have us think.

Isn't it strange that Bagley didn't mention the sales tax increase for Ramsey county in his list of things that people are doing to bring money to the table? I wonder why he omitted that....hmmmm.

murphydogJun. 6, 11 6:21 AM

Wow -- Bagley must not ever listen to the gibberish that comes out of his mouth. How about Mr. Wilf stop paying this ineffective mouthpiece and put that amount of money into his share of the financing pot.

Yes, we should adjust the state and local share down to ZERO. The heck with these extortionists.
