Maybe the "summer of recovery" will start next year.
Thank You Obama!!
Hmmm Classic economics says burdening the private sector with regulation, higher taxes, healthcare mandates, and CAUSING runaway energy prices, while increasing public debt by deficit spending past the point where it can be repaid will help create jobs and wealth for a country's citizens. NOT.
Recovery? What recovery? There never was a recovery. Why does the liberal media keep talking about this recovery then act surprised when there's bad economic data?
First, put the NEEDED regulations back on to the oil companies. Better yet, make them more stringent! Second, create jobs. Something needs to be done and it needs to be done REALLY soon!
It's Obamanomics -- and we're living the nightmare! Come November 2012, let's send this guy off to go build houses with Jimmy Carter!
History will show what party caused this near recession. And it ain't gonna show the democrats.
I'm a Democrat for life and I know I probably sound naive here but lets just put our differences aside and get this great country of ours back on the right track. I don't know how the people we voted into office get anything accomplished when all we here is the constant bickering between our elected officials. Lets just learn to work together and do it already. USA! USA! USA!
Might be time to rethink this notion that unfettered growth is desireable and necessary.
Well, it IS right out of the economics textbooks, from Smith forward- wealth gathering at the top stagnates an economy... It doesn't happen in one day, but slowly overtime. It's not rocket science, it's economics 1... After decades of tax reductions for the most able at gathering wealth, the economy stagnates - not new news... If you aim the loaded gun at your foot and pull the trigger, you should not be surprised when you get a sudden hole in the foot.
