The task consumed the last decade of Mike Hurley's CIA career.
Thank you Mr. Hurley!
Thank you sir.
It is wrong and dangerous to name these people! The hunters and assassins need to remain anonomous! Local pride is fine, but now these people are hunted and pictures and names are reckless. We should know only that a number of patriots made this possible, we should not even know about Seal Team 6. Its done, over and clandestine.
Don't believe him! True soldiers don't brag!
which side is the RedStar tribune on? don't print this kind of inside information. "The interview subject is not an asset to the U.S. Loose lips sink ships."
Not sure "consecration" is how I'd describe a vow to "export death and violence to the four corners of the earth in defense of our great nation." More like a vow of vengeance.
Really. Don't do this guy and his family any favors.
Is this what the Obama Admin is resorting to now? publishing names and CITIES of those in the CIA who worked on stalking the most wanted man in the world? My God Strib. You better hope nothing bad happens to any of his family b/c of your article. I can't believe this would be declassified so fast. Why else would they release this info other than to get some much needed browning points with fawning fans of our Special Ops & Clandestine Svcs? i.e. - Repubs.
Asalamu Alaykom, I can really appreciate that this man sacrificed a lot to do what he thought was best for this country. It was an interesting read. At the same time, I do worry about his safety. This information goes out to everyone and not everyone is going to appreciate what he did. Media outlets need to be thinking carefully about reporting names, places and faces of people who fight terrorism.
